About OTOLabs

OTOlabs has been building desktop applications since 1997. Formerly known as AdTools and now a part of One to One Interactive, a digital marketing services company, OTOlabs? ThinkDesktop platform is an industry leader and innovator in the branded desktop application space. The ThinkDesktop platform is OTOlabs proprietary branded desktop application (BDA) development and hosted services environment that enables the rapid and economical development of very powerful data-driven desktop applications.

OTOlabs is uniquely positioned to deliver the highest quality branded desktop applications at a cost-effective price in a rapid time frame. We have launched hundreds of desktop applications for Fortune 500 and other world-class companies in many industries over the last eight years. Our platform and code-base has extensive capabilities and benefits from the maturity and in-the-field testing that only many years of use can provide.

Chris Heitmann, Executive Vice President, General Manager

Currently serving as EVP of OTOlabs, Chris Heitmann was a founder and originally served as Chief Operating Officer of AdTools which was acquired by One to One Interactive and is now know as OTOlabs. Chris oversees operations, sales, marketing, and business development. Heitmann managed the company's growth, culminating in the sale of AdTools to the One to One Interactive.

Prior to forming AdTools, Chris founded Digital Marketing Concepts, a consulting and technology group specializing in online marketing and commerce, in 1995. Digital Marketing Concepts developed innovative internet strategies and online presences. Digital Marketing Concepts went on to merge with CodeHammer Online Productions Ltd. of London, UK to form AdTools.

Chris began his career as a founder of Online Computer Sales, a brick-and-mortar and online computer store, in 1990. Online Computer Sales began selling PCs and computer equipment on the internet in 1990, several years before the introduction of the World Wide Web.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.

 
 

Chris Pointon, Senior Vice President, Technology

As co-founder and SVP Technology of OTOlabs, Chris has led the development of the ThinkDesktop technology platform since 1997. With experience of over 100 productions, and a deep knowledge of desktop and internet technology, he oversees the relationship between ThinkDesktop developers and their clients' technical teams, helping both sides to work as effectively as possible.

Prior to OTOlabs (formerly AdTools) Chris was Technical Director of CodeHammer Ltd, leading the development of massively-multiplayer online games and online collaboration software. He joined CodeHammer from The Multimedia Corporation, an award-winning developer of multimedia CDROM titles. He led the Windows development team, and his credits there include 3D Atlas, Wide World of Animals, Sophie's World and the Oxford Children's Encyclopedia.

Chris holds a first-class honors degree in electrical engineering from The University of Birmingham, UK.

 
 

Mitchel Ahern, Director of Product Management

Mitchel Ahern joined OTOlabs (formerly AdTools) in 2000. As Director of Product Management he is responsible for sales development, project management, as well as marketing communications and public relations. He writes occasional articles for iMedia Connection, Adotas and others. As Director of Consumer Entertainment he was responsible for the efforts of a team of animators and developers for consumer sites that served millions of unique visitors.

Prior to joining OTOlabs Mitchel was Webmaster / Digital Marketing Director for Eastern Acoustic Works, and had been a partner in the Gibbs+King advertising agency which represented clients in the institutional and technology markets. He was also Vice President of the Webmasters Guild, and subsequently national chairman of the Association of Internet Professionals.

Mitchel holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Clark University.

 
 

Adam Ford, Director of Business Development

Adam Ford joined OTOlabs in 2007. As Director of Business Development Adam is responsible for sales, sales development, as well as forging strategic and channel partner relationships for the company’s marketing technology products. Adam has been a sales professional in the software space for many years including stints at OpenPages, Inmagic, TeamStudio and VERSYSS.
